The XFL is back with a week of action in the books. Three of last weekend’s games were decided by four points or less with defenses holding the upper hand. What does Week 2 have in store for fans? Thursday night the Battle Hawks got their second straight 4th quarter comeback and beat the Sea Dragons 20-18 with a last second field goal. The XFL has been entertaining this year so far and its good to have an alternative during the NFL off season that excites the crowd.

On Saturday the Defenders will head to Vegas to take on the Vipers. Vegas QB Perez threw for three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Vipers 22-20 loss. The Defenders' aggressive defense gives them a solid advantage this time. Combine the defense with steady quarterback play, along with taking advantage of any Vegas miscues, and D.C. leaves Nevada with a 2-0 record.

It's a double header on Sunday, starting with San Antonio against Orlando. Both teams are coming off losses, the Brahmas falling to St. Louis' late rally while the Guardians were dominated by Houston in a 33-12 blowout. Week 2 concludes in prime time with the only matchup between teams that won in Week 1 as Arlington will travel to Houston to play the Roughnecks. The Renegades got most of their points in their opener thanks to their defense with two pick-sixes plus a field goal after a fumble while Houston had a relatively easy time against Orlando thanks to three interceptions and seven sacks.
