This year the Olympic Golf Individual brings together sixty of the world's top golfers in Paris, France, to compete for their countries. Golf Course Superintendent Lucas Pierre has allowed some margin for error, but major mistakes will be costly. The greens are relatively small, averaging 6,458 square feet, and are protected by numerous bunkers and water hazards, impacting play on over half of the holes.

The greens are a blend of Poa and Creeping Bentgrass, which might be slower and bumpier than usual due to expected rain and careful maintenance to preserve the course's condition for back-to-back tournament weeks. This year has been particularly wet in Paris, likely leading to softer and slower playing conditions.
