Verlander & Peña Lead The Astros To A 3-2 World Series Lead
Justin Verlander gets first World Series win after 16 years
Good morning,
Let’s dive in…

Developing Stories 📰
After 16 years Justin Verlander finally gets his first World Series win. The Astros won a 3-2 thriller last night against the Phillies. Jeremy Pena provided the early offense and a home run mid game to give the Astros a 3-1 lead. Things took a turn in the 8th with Segura driving in Castellanos to make it a 3-2 game. With a man on first and third, Trey Mancini made an outstanding play to end the 8th. We turn to the Bottom of the 9th where Pressly has to face Hoskins, Realmuto, and Harper. With one out, Chas McCormick made what could be the biggest catch of his life and this World Series. Pressly escapes further damage and earns the save to take a 3-2 lead. Game 6 will be in Houston Saturday with Framber Valdez and Zach Wheeler as the starting pitchers. Current line is set at Astros -145.

Weekend Picks 🔒
Purdue -3.5:
Purdue is 4-1 ATS following a loss. Purdue is also coming off a much needed BYE week. Aiden O'Connell and company should be well versed with two weeks to prepare. Iowa has been good on defense so this is a week where O'Connell needs to hit those deep balls as the secondary starts to come down. Iowa’s offense is atrocious and everyone here knows that. Spencer Pratt averages 151 yards per game and has 3 touchdowns on the season. The OC, Brian Ferentz, is the coaches son and he wont get fired. Im taking the more confident team here with Purdue.
Michigan -26:
Michigan allows 11.5 points per game and the Rutgers offense is non existent putting up a bagel against Minnesota Last week. I can‘t see a game where they score more than 14 points. Michigan has one of the most balanced offenses in the nation. Rutgers gave up 67% of its third down tries to Minnesota. Michigan wants that to be worse this week. This should be a blow out win and there is nothing to convince me otherwise. I expect something like a 45-10 ending.
