The NCAA basketball championship final game is set: San Diego State University vs the University of Connecticut will play for the national title. The Huskies are currently a 7.5 favorite with the over/under set at 132.5. The game will be in Houston at the NRG Stadium on Monday night, tipping off at 9:20 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Huskies have the offensive edge averaging 78.6 points compared to San Diego State at 71.5 points. San Diego State has the edge allowing 63 points per game, more than a point under the Huskies. Their win-loss record this season is 32-6, better than UCONN at 30-8 due to their defense. The Aztecs have showed signs of quality offense too. The #4 seed had a slow start to the season, losing 6 out of 8 games putting the Huskies at the idle of the standings.

UConn is going for its fifth national title since its first victory in 1999, having won more championships than any other team during that span. In all four previous title game appearances, they have yet to win a title. A win on Monday would be coach Hurley's first title with the team.

San Diego State has been underdog story in this year’s March Madness. It's the school's first national championship game. Before this year, they'd never made it to the Elite Eight. San Diego State deserves credit. They took out one of the top teams in the country and survived tough games against Creighton and Florida. Based on the matchup you would have to expect UCONN to roll but who knows what can happen when this SDSU team plays at the top of their game.
