The PGA Tour will wrap up its season at the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring the Top 30 players from the 2024 season. East Lake, a historic course in the Southeast, recently underwent a major restoration to revive its original 1904 design by Donald Ross, led by Andrew Green. The course had been modernized over the years, but the goal was to restore its classic architectural features and enhance the challenges for top golfers.

Key changes for 2024 include converting the course to a par 71, adding nearly 150 yards, and introducing two par 5s in the final five holes. All 18 tee boxes, greens, fairways, and bunkers were rebuilt, with Zorro Zoysia grass added for sustainability and fairways reshaped to promote more ground movement.

Driving accuracy is critical at East Lake, as the unpredictable Bermuda grass rough can challenge even the best players. The greens are large but feature multiple tiers and runoffs, making precise approach shots essential. Fans and players are eager to see how these changes will impact this year's Tour Championship, expecting a more challenging yet fair competition.
