Dak vs Tom

Can Dak Prescott’s Cowboys finally get a win over Tom Brady and the Bucs?

Good morning,

Let’s dive in…

Developing Stories 📰

We're through five of six games in the NFL playoffs wild card round for the 2022 season. Tonight the Dallas Cowboys will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the final game of the weekend. It's Tom Brady vs. Dak Prescott and the winner will advance to play the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round next weekend. Tom Brady continues to be a dominant force for the Buccaneers. The seven-time Super Bowl champion owns strong command of the offense and has been great against Dallas throughout his career. Brady has completed 61% of his passes for 1,945 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions through seven games against Dallas. He's thrown for at least two passing scores in four of those outings. Mike Evans has also been productive against the Cowboys. Through five games, Evans has snagged 26 receptions for 370 yards and two touchdowns. He's gone over 55 receiving yards in four matchups against Dallas. In the season-opener against the Cowboys, Evans caught five passes for 71 yards and one score. The Cowboys offense ranks 5th in the league since Dak Prescott returned from injury. With Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield and Ceedee Lamb, T.Y. Hilton and tight end Dalton Schultz running routes, Dallas has plenty of ways to attack the Bucs defense. However, Prescott has thrown 11 interceptions over the past seven games and the Cowboys have not won on the road in the postseason since 1993. This game could go either way so this game will be one of the best to watch over this wild card weekend.

Picks 🔒

Buccaneers +2.5 | Posted on Friday’s newsletter

Buccaneers UNDER 45.5 | Posted on Fridays newsletter

Richard Gasquet -140

  • Gasquet has had a good build up to the slam. The Frenchman made the final of the ASB Classic in Auckland. Humbert is playing in his fifth Australian Open. The Frenchman has never gone beyond the second round here and last year lost in the first round.

Tony Pollard OVER 50.5 rushing yards

  • The over has hit 7 out of the last 10 games. The Buccaneers defense ranks right in the middle at #15 in rushing yards allowed. Tony Pollard received %43 of the teams this year. Think he gets a couple break aways here and covers once again.
