Another Test For TCU

Can the Horned Frogs stay hot in Waco?

Good morning,

Let’s dive in…

Developing Stories 📰

Week 12 is a bit more relaxed College Football weekend. We do have a few solid matchups to watch though;

At 11AM CT #4TCU faces off against Baylor. TCU comes into Waco undefeated and fighting to prove that they deserve a spot in the top four for the CFP. Vegas doesn’t expect TCU to get their easily though, as the Horned Frogs are a short 2.5 point favorite. It’ll be huge game for Sonny Dykes and Max Duggan to prove they are for real this season.

The next important game on Saturday kicks off at 7PM as #7 USC (-2.5) heads to LA to take on the #16 Bruins. If USC wins out they will have a solid shot at making it to the CFP. I’m sure UCLA would love to take those chances away from their PAC 12 foes. This game should be fun.

Weekend Picks 🔒

UCLA +2.5

  • I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m leaning towards UCLA at home. It took USC a while to get going against Colorado, and once they did they were fine. But they also suffered a big loss, losing Travis Dye for what looks like the rest of the season.

LSU -15

  • LSU stays home Saturday for what should be a nice easy stroll in the park following a hard-fought win over Arkansas in Week 11 - which did not have to be as tough as it was. The Tigers have three games left to prove to the committee they deserve 1 of the 4 sought after College Football Playoff spots.

Giants -3

  • The Giants somehow find a way to keep winning. This Lions defense won’t be able to shut down Saquon Barkley on the ground, and Detroit is allowing the most yards per pass attempt in the league this season. As so, this should be a manageable feat for the Giants with a home advantage.
